The main component of White cement is calcium carbonate,and calcium carbonate can be easily produce chemical reaction by mixing the acid or alkaline chemicals.And most mosaics contain metal compounds,especially gold foil, mirror, electroplating, cold spray,etc.such glass mosaic is particularly sensitive of pH.These kinds of mosaic no melting with high-temperature,their layer of color and glass are just glued with adhesive.So they are easier become black oxidation products.They can only be used the neutral adhesive for sticking and filling.

 

 

The neutral mosaic adhesive,that is no acid,alkaline powder material and any cement ingredients.Under the situation of aqueous,the PH is about 7 to 7.5,that is neutral.So when purchase the adhesive,we should pay attention to this.
